Just a quick note here really to say I’ve been working some more on my updated theme for raww.org. It’s up to version 0.4.0, which can be viewed over on icabod.org (yes, I do own a lot of domains). I’ve actually managed to get it working pretty much the same in all browsers I’ve tried, which is no mean feat when you consider how different they all are. I’ll try it in Opera tonight when I get home from work.
In the meantime I’d be happy for you to head over to see the updated theme and let me know your opinions (add them as comments here). It’s pretty much the same as the current raww.org theme, but because of the way it’s written should be much “lighter” for the user (in download terms), much quicker, and much easier to modify. These can only be “good things”. I’ve also taken the opportunity to alter the design a little (the footer now provides a nice “frame” to the page, I think), so you can suggest changes as required.
When the theme goes live I’ll provide a number of versions – one request from a loooong time ago was to have a page with just the news (no menu bars) to be used as someone’s active-desktop. I’m also thinking of a text-only version of the site. See. Thinking of the user.

Black text on dark blue is very hard to read.
Lighten up, dude!
PS. Sorry about the cat.
Hmm, I guess you mean in the menu boxes – I’m thinking of making the blue a little lighter, tho’ I still want to keep a grey/blue feel to the site. I’ll have a play with colours shortly.
And thanks :]
