In about one and a half hours I’ll be leaving work and heading to sunny (ha!) London for the evening. The reason? I’m going to see the wonderful Cud perform live at the Carling Academy, Islington. I got into Cud a looong time ago, their albums have long been deleted. They have the proud claim that one of their albums cost me more than any other. I spent £50 for Leggy Mambo on Ebay. And it was worth it.
So now they’re doing a small tour and I have my ticket. I’m looking forward to it. The venue has sold out (which I guess means they’ve reached the 800 person capacity). Not bad for a little-known late-80′s band, eh?
I may be fat. But I know where it’s at.
