An announcement

Those of you who keep a close eye on my other website will no doubt have noticed that news throughput has been down in recent weeks. Ever since I got back from my Canada trip, in fact. There’s a perfectly good reason – I’ve been busy working on things to do with my upcoming wedding. Oh, did I not mention already? Catherine and I got engaged whilst in Canada. It’s so far surprised only one person, and they were kinda expecting it anyway.

I proposed on our 3rd “going out” anniversary by way of post-it note. It’s not as bad as it sounds – the post-it was placed inside a ring-box (along with the ring), which was presented as an anniversary gift. All this took place in a rather nice restaurant in White Rock, BC. The restaurant was called “The Keg”, tho’ while the name conjures up images of kids drawing on paper table-cloths, it’s actually quite an upmarket place. The waiter gave us free dessert… Result!

Anyway, as seems to be a bit of a trend at the moment, we’ve been setting up a “Wedsite” to cover the details of our forthcoming nuptials. These sites are traditionally rather nauseating, so we went the whole hog and put ours on the domain fwuffybunny.com. You can go there to find out information about the wedding (and us) as and when we see fit to add it. Most importantly we hope to have a list of things you can buy us.

Now… I just need to work out which tune to have as our “first dance”. I’m thinking either the last part of Shock by Ziutek…

…or the wonderful Agent-X tune at the end of NMI3

I wonder which Catherine would prefer?

Of course, I could always try to persuade Gasman to perform his a cappella version of the NMI track. Hmm.

What, no Get Orf Moi Land?

Oh, I see… you’re going to get the organist to play that at the church. That’s alright then.

That’s the idea. Or get Bogie to remix it to play at the end of the day… “Get Oot Moi Reception!”

I thought Fudgepackers ‘Turtlehead’ track would have been quite touching…
