Vampire – The Masquerade : Dilemma

No, that’s not the title of a new Vampire game. As some of you may know, I was looking for VTM:Bloodlines for ages (well, a couple weeks), and I got it and it is good. I’ve been using the sometimes controversial WESP unofficial patch. I say controversial as it makes some additional changes to the gameplay, rather than just fixing bugs. Now I notice that there’s another patch, being called “True VTMB”, the aim of which is to “restore Bloodlines to being the game that Troika wanted it to be — minus the bugs and glitches”. This sounds much more like my kind of thing. The problem is… I’m part-way through the game. Not far, but far enough to warrant not wanting to do a full replay just yet. I’ll have to do some research and find out if installing this patch will break my current game, and also check whether I can just install it over the top of the WESP patch… it looks like that may be possible.

Of course the oddest thing about this new “true” patch is that it’s found on the website of someone who appears to have a hobby of making nude skins for games. I’d be half expecting my character to be running around bollock naked all the time.

Ho-hum, decisions decisions.
