Theme Test

Just before I head off to a meeting I thought I’d try out the in-development theme. It’s far from complete but I want to see how it renders in a variety of browsers, and the easiest way to do that is to activate it and use browsershots.org, a fantastic free service that provides you with screenshots of a webpage in a number of different browsers on different platforms. It can take some time (you can specify to wait up to four hours, which unless you’re in a real rush I’d suggest you do), but it’s very handy for seeing the oddities of some browsers.

When I’ve got the shots, I’ll put the old theme back.

In case you’re curious – the screenshots of the page (I picked an article with a few comments so I could see how they render) are here: browsershots.org
Nothing there yet – it could take up to four hours to complete.

Gone back to the Pool theme for a while so I can do a bit more work on the visual (rather than mostly layout) side of the new theme. I’ll see about doing some graphics and wotnot this weekend.
